Leading Tamil actress Trisha Krishnan is the talk of the town after her stunning performance in ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer, Ponniyin Selvan: 1, which saw her portray the role of Ilaiya Piratti Kundavai. The magnum opus Tamil epic, which also stars 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles, and featuring music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman has since gone on to make 450+ crores in worldwide gross and continues to be the talk of the town, while all sights are now set on the sequel, Ponniyin Selvan: 2, which is slated to come out next summer. With fans left mesmerized by Trisha's powerful performance in PS: 1, the actress has a few promising films lined up ahead among which also includes the much-awaited The Road - Revenge in 462kms

Announced back in April this year, The Road directed by debutant Arun Vaseegaran will see Trisha sharing screen space with Cook with Comali sensation Santhosh Prathap and Sarpatta Parambarai 'Dancing Rose' fame Shabeer, while the supporting cast includes Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vela Ramamoorthy, among others. The upcoming film produced by AAA Cinema Private Limited banner will have music composed by Sam CS, cinematography by KG Venkatesh, and editing by AR Shivaraj, and is said to be based on a real-life incident that took place in the early 2000s in Madurai. With The Road's first glimpse released sometime back, the second look has now been unveiled in the form of a motion poster  as a festive treat for Diwali. 

The Road motion poster shows Trisha holding a gun pointed at someone who is not shown to the viewers along with the announcement that the film's teaser will be released soon. Based on the visuals in this latest glimpse, we can expect the teaser to be intense and action-packed and will no doubt be different for fans watching the actress after her performance in Ponniyin Selvan: 1
