The latest buzz from the rumour mills is that Trisha's bank account has been robbed, and she has lost close to Rs. 1 Crore, but the veracity of this news has not yet been established. Reports state that while Trisha was checking her account statement, she found that Rs. 1 Crore had been transferred out of her account, without her knowledge. Trisha holds an account with a private bank, located on Anna Salai.
The reports further add that an employee of the bank had secretly handed over Trisha's account details to an outsider, who had then gone on to hack her personal account, and transfer funds to an unknown account. Insiders state that when Trisha brought this matter to the attention of the bank authorities, they requested her not to file a police complaint as it would harm their reputation, and that they themselves would thoroughly investigate this matter, and ensure that the money was recovered.
