Leading South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan has had a stellar 2022 after coming up with a power-packed performance as Kundavai Devi in Mani Ratnam's epic historical action-adventure film Ponniyin Selvan: 1 and will be seen next in the much-awaited Raangi hitting screens on December 30. Directed by M Saravanan of Engeyum Eppodhum fame under the Lyca Productions banner, the upcoming action thriller drama recently had its trailer released to a rousing response, with fans now waiting for the film to open in cinemas later this week. With Raangi all set to finally release, Trisha recently took part in an exclusive interview to talk about her role in the film, while also dropping a hint about being a part of Vijay's Thalapathy 67 under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction.

Speaking about her inclusion in Thalapathy 67, Trisha said, "We'll talk about Raangi now. We can chat about that a little here and there. Regarding what you asked, we'll speak about it next year. Only 7 or 8 days more and we'll talk about it then. See, I would like to say this quite clearly - some of the things I'm not talking about now are because this isn't my place to speak. We are crossing a line as actors by talking about it, right? Even if I'm asked about a film, sometimes... we can talk about Raangi now. Had you asked me about the film six months back, it's not my place. Only a director should speak then."

Upon being queried about whether she's a lucky charm for Vijay or vice versa, Trisha revealed, "It's not like that. If it's a good film, everyone's lucky for each other. Beyond being lucky, I think, we've become a hit pair from our first film together. Even I've heard about this on social media that they want to see us two together because there are joint fan clubs for us and I think that's because they like seeing us on screen. So, more than luck, I think it's because people like to see us together. It can be like that too. Many people have said this to me. So, I'm just quoting them. Whenever Ghilli and Thirupaachi are played on TV, I receive a lot of messages with a lot of screenshots. It's more like people also like it."
