American actor Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth are expecting their first baby, according to reports. Goth, known for starring in Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac, was spotted on January 2 in Pasadena, California, wearing a pair of black leggings and a white long sleeve shirt with her baby bump, while also baring her baby bump. Fans have been sending their love on social media to the couple on the next important phase in their lives. Goth and LaBeouf tied the knot in 2016, but had separated in 2018, a representative for the actor said at the time. "Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private," the statement read. However, there have also been rumors of a reconciliation between the couple since then, with LaBeouf seen wearing a wedding band in April 2020, while Goth carried a diamond ring and a wedding band.

The actor wrote an email to the New York Times and said, "I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say."
