Actress Kate Winslet has had a long and successful career, recently winning an Emmy for playing the title role of HBO's acclaimed series Mare of Easttown. She will also be making her Avatar debut in the upcoming sequel The Way of Water, which demanded a lot of underwater work from her. But despite being a complete professional while filming, Winslet was recently hospitalized after suffering an injury on the set of a new movie. 

Kate Winslet is currently working on a new movie called Lee which is currently under production in Croatia which is where Winslet suffered her recent injury. As per reports, she slipped on set and was ultimately brought to a hospital to have her injuries examined. A rep from Winslet notified the public that she is fine and will be filming the same week as planned. The Titanic icon is expected to return to return to the movie's set shortly. She went to the hospital to be safe. 

Avatar: The Way of Water has reunited her with Titanic filmmaker James Cameron after 25 long years as they last collaborated on the 1997 blockbuster hit film Titanic. Avatar: The Way of Water is an upcoming epic science-fiction film helmed by James Cameron and produced by 20th Century Studios. It is the second film in Cameron's Avatar franchise, following 2009's Avatar. Cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao, and Matt Gerald reprise their roles from the original film, while new cast members include Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Michelle Yeoh, Brendan Cowell, Oona Chaplin, CJ Jones, and Vin Diesel.

The film has been scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 16 December 2022 with the following three sequels to be released respectively on 20 December 2024, 18 December 2026, and 22 December 2028.
