A Tamil language fantasy adventure comedy drama film, Thumbaa, also coming out in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam is the directorial debut of LH Harish Ram starring Darshan, Keerthi Pandian, KPY Dheena in the lead roles with musical contributions by Anirudh Ravichander, Vivek-Mervin, and Santhosh Dhayanidhi.
Produced by Surekha Nyapati and being released across the world by KJR Studios, Thumbaa set predominantly against the backdrop of the Western Ghats marks the acting debut of Keerthi Pandian, daughter of actor turned producer, Arun Pandian, with the film also loaded with plenty of of VFX.
A short musical promo video for the film was released not long back to a positive response from fans after which the Thumbaa trailer came out last week, which went on to get a thunderous reception and went on to tease all the big highlights that awaits fans when it finally arrives in theatres.
That said, sources close to us have now revealed that the makers of Thumbaa have planned to get it released in theatres as a summer treat on May 10 as it is the vacation time and will be an apt occasion to bring it out for kids and youngsters along with families to watch. An official statement from the team regarding the film’s release date is expected to made in the days ahead.
As of now, Vishal's Ayogya and the Jai, Catherine Tresa, Raai Laxmi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer, Neeya 2, are lined up for release on May 10 with an official announcement on Thumbaa coming out on the same date now awaited from the team.
