Blockbuster Tamil director Lingusamy's next big film, The Warriorr, marks his debut in Telugu cinema and has Ram Pothineni and Krithi Shetty as the lead stars, with Aadhi Pinisetty cast as the antagonist. The buzz for Lingusamy's new film produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi's Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner and featuring music by chart-buster South Indian films composer Devi Sri Prasad has been massive right from the moment the project was announced and the makers have now released the much-awaited trailer for the mass action venture.
The Warriorr trailer starts off with the introduction of Ram Pothineni, who is playing the role of a police officer named Satya and is a no-holds-barred character standing up for justice. Said to be inspired by true events, the visuals progress to Satya shifting to Madurai in Tamil Nadu as the new Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), who is out on a mission to bring things into order. The Warriorr trailer then progresses to show the romance between Ram Pothineni and youth sensation Krithi Shetty, who are seen shaking their feet to the 'Bullet Song'. We then see the first instance of a confrontation between Ram and Aadhi, who is playing the role of a gangster running his own show in the city, and thus begins the conflict.
Based on the first visuals in The Warriorr trailer, we can say that director Lingusamy is back to being his powerful best in delivering the action, which we can now say can be expected in plenty when the film arrives in cinemas worldwide on July 14. The upcoming Telugu-Tamil film will be the filmmaker's big comeback after a nearly four-year gap after his Sandakozhi 2 and fans will no doubt be looking forward to witnessing his prowess once again.
