The Legend began streaming on Disney+ Hotstar yesterday(03-03-2023) and has received a positive response from fans. The film's OTT release had been highly anticipated by netizens since its theatrical release last year. Everything came together, and the movie has now stormed Hotstar as the No.1. The actor and producer of the movie, Legend Saravanan, expressed his joy at the news, stating that a new era has begun. 

Saravanan Arul is a well-known Indian businessman, actor, and social media sensation who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He is the owner of the famous retail franchise Saravana Stores and gained popularity after appearing in his own shopping store video advertisements alongside popular Indian actresses Tamannaah and Hansika Motwani. He then made his acting debut in the science fiction action movie The Legend, which he produced under his own banner. The Legend, written and directed by J.D. Jerry, was released in a whopping 2500+ theaters worldwide on July 28, 2022. The film's theatrical rights across various locations were sold for a huge price, making it the biggest release for a debut actor. In the movie, Saravanan Arul portrayed a scientist with a doctorate who is committed to using his knowledge and skills for the betterment of his community and the country as a whole. The movie also featured notable actors such as Geethika Tiwary, Urvashi Rautela, Vivek, Suman, and Nassar. The music for the film was composed by Harris Jayaraj, and the cinematography and editing were handled by R. Velraj and Ruben, respectively. 

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, The Legend did well at the box office, marking a grand entry for Saravanan Arul into the film industry. It was the final film for the late veteran comedian and actor Vivek and the first for Saravanan Arul and Geethika Tiwary.
