The Legend is an upcoming Tamil action flick directed by Joseph D. Sami and Jerald Arockiam, collectively known as J. D.–Jerry. The film stars Arul Saravanan and Urvashi Rautela (in her Tamil film debut), late comedian Vivek, Suman and Nassar. The music of the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj while the cinematography and the editing were handled by R. Velraj and Ruben respectively. The film revolves around a scientist who focuses on using his education and knowledge as weapons to help his people and the nation. The Legend is scheduled to be released theatrically worldwide on 28 July 2022 in over 2500 screens.

The Legend team recently flew over to Dubai for a press meet. This event gathered numerous people in order to celebrate the release of the film. Legend Arul Saravanan took to his official Twitter handle that he had recently made to announce this news. The event was attended by the core team of the upcoming film. This is also the first time that such a massive gathering has been held for a debutant actor. No other debut hero has gained such a large-scale press meet or event or any sort of special treatment for their first film. This goes on to show the impact of Legend Saravanan.

The makers of the film have already released teasers, trailers and songs from The Legend, which were all very well received by the public and especially his fans. His fans are eagerly waiting to see him kill it on the big screen with his immense mass and class performance.
