With the announcement of The Batman, we cannot wait to see the Caped Crusader take out the bad guys as he has always done! The new take on the Dark Knight comes from director Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson (Bruce Wayne/Batman) putting on the cowl and cape this time. A clip from the film was leaked a few days back, but Warner Bros. has now officially released the scene first hand and it is nothing short of exhilarating! The 3-minute long scene does not have Bruce Wayne speaking dialogues, but instead captures the essence of the film. The scene is set at a funeral where a huge crowd along with Bruce and Inspector Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) are present. Just when we think everything is going well, a car runs into the venue out of nowhere causing chaos. Bruce Wayne throws himself in the face of danger as he saves a child from being run over.

We catch a glimpse of who may possibly be The Riddler as we see a motionless silhouette during this bangarang, staring down at those who are caught in the wild incident. The spine-chilling sequence has proved itself to be nail-biting and the only thing that was upsetting about it is that it got over too soon. With a wonderful little sneak peek as such, who wouldn’t want to see a little more of the movie?

The Batman is said to be unlike any other Batman film ever before. It seems to show Batman as a detective and not one who fights crime and cleans the city of filth as he always has. Joining the cast are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano as The Riddler, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Colin Farrell as Penguin. The Batman is all set to open in theatres worldwide on March 4, 2022. Watch The Batman – Funeral Scene below:
