Recently, it came to light that cinematographer, director and actor Thangar Bachan, who last made the movie Kalavaadiya Pozhuthugal in 2017, is back to direction. Reports state that he is launching his son Vijith, through his upcoming directorial. Titled Takku Mukku Tikku Thalam, this new movie would be a comedy entertainer bankrolled by PNS Entertainment. Within just days of this news coming out, we have already gotten news of Thangar Bachan's next! Our industry sources state that Thangar Bachan's next movie would be for Lyca Productions. Further details about this new project including the cast and crew, are awaited.

This is indeed great news for Thangar Bachan, who has won a number of awards for his movies, including the Tamil Nadu State Award for the Best Director, for his 2007 movie Pallikoodam. Thangar Bachan is known to be second only to Bharathiraja to portray villages in detail and all their natural glory. Even the veteran director Bharathiraja himself has acknowledged this. While recently interacting with the media about his ongoing film Takku Mukku Tikku Thalam (TMTT), the director has revealed that he has now understood that the pulse of the audience has changed and that they want more fictional stuff than raw and original stuff.

TMTT is said to be a comedy movie with Munishkanth, Milano Nagaraj, Ashwini, Stunt Silva, Mansoor Ali Khan and a number of others forming a part of the cast.
