'Chiyaan' Vikram will be next seen in ace filmmaker Pa. Ranjith's Thangalaan, which began filming in October after the film was launched back in July amidst much hype and excitement. Being produced by K. E. Gnanavelraja's Studio Green and Ranjith’s Neelam Productions banners, the team also released a special title announcement teaser giving us a glimpse at each of the characters in the film, while also establishing that the story is during the pre-Independence period. With filming progressing at a steady pace, Vikram posted on social media on Monday evening, December 5, a video of himself, Pa. Ranjith, and a few other members of the Thangalaan crew having a fun time at the Hogenakkal Falls in Karnataka.

Hogenakkal Falls has been a popular tourist destination for many years and there have been several big Tamil film productions that have shot films at the location. The video of the Thangalaan team shows Vikram and Pa. Ranjith along with their team having an absolute blast in the water under the falls and rejoicing in their time together. Posting the video, Vikram wrote in the caption that the entire team had been waiting for the shoot to wrap so that they could jump into the waters and have fun, while also tagging along a few friends, including some who were initially hesitant, but would later not come out. As with the picture, Vikram's latest video of the Thangalaan team is once again taking social media by storm. Watch the video below:

Thangalaan has Vikram and Parvathy cast alongside popular names like Master heroine Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathi, and Harikrishnan Anbudurai in key roles, and will feature music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, who recently won the National Award for Best Background Score in Suriya's Soorarai Pottru. There has been a huge buzz surrounding the film ever since its announcement and Vikram will be looking to hit the high note once again after tasting gargantuan box office success with Ponniyin Selvan: 1, while Pa. Ranjith too will be aiming for the bullseye after his Natchathiram Nagargiradhu garnered tremendous critical acclaim.
