'Thalapathy' Vijay will kick off 2023 with the highly-anticipated film, Varisu, which is being billed to be a wholesome family entertainer along the lines of the actor's Poove Unakkaga (1996) and Thulladha Manamum Thullum (1999). The upcoming venture has been directed by Vamshi Paidipally under Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and features music by chart-buster South Indian composer Thaman. S, with the makers announcing that the first single from the film will be out on Saturday, November 5. In that light, the Varisu team has now dropped a surprise update about the time that the much-awaited 'Ranjithame' song will be released and informed that the full track will be out tomorrow at 5.30 p.m.

Announcing the time of the 'Ranjithame' song’s release from Varisu, Sri Venkateswara Creations shared a special mash-up video of Vijay's smash hit songs like 'Ennoda Laila' (Badri), 'Podango' (Bagavathi), 'Vaadi Vaadi' (Sachein), 'Google Google' (Thuppakki), 'Verithanam' (Bigil), 'Vaathi Coming' (Master), and 'Jolly O Gymkhana' (Beast), including visuals from Mersal. The video also features Vijay's speech at the Bigil audio launch, while also giving us glimpses of the actor's appearances in front of huge crowds at the Master shooting spot in Shimoga, Karnataka before the visuals shift to the 'Ranjithame' promo from Varisu showing the actor setting the mood for the celebrations ahead. The hype for 'Ranjithame' is massive and is expected to join the playlist as the above chart-busters of Vijay. Check out the new 'Ranjithame' song announcement below:

'Ranjithame' has choreography by Jani master after his steps in the 'Arabic Kuthu' song from Beast released earlier this year became a rage among fans. The Varisu song's promo showed Vijay once again going full out with the dance and fans expect him to take social media by storm with his steps and movements. Varisu will see Vijay paired with Rashmika Mandanna, while the film's supporting cast includes names like Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Khushbu Sundar, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, Shaam, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, D. R. K. Kiran, with SJ Suryah also speculated to be making a special appearance.
