Ciby Chandran is riding the wave after his sensational performance in the recently-concluded edition of Bigg Boss Tamil. The young actor, who played the lead role in the 2018 crime thriller Vanjagar Ulagam, while also appearing in a pivotal role in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's box office blockbuster Master last year, turned out to be one of the biggest highlights of Bigg Boss Tamil season 5. Ciby, who was evicted from Bigg Boss Tamil 5 after accepting a cash prize of Rs 12 lakh, has now spoken about things that have taken a different course after the appearance on the show. The response from fans for his successful stint in Bigg Boss has been nothing short of astounding, with the actor in an exclusive interview with Galatta speaking about how even actor Vijay's children, son Sanjay and daughter Sasha, were impressed by his performance on the reality show.

During the interview, Ciby stated how his fellow Bigg Boss 5 contestant and actor Sanjeev Venkat had told him about Vijay's kids and his family's reaction to his stint on the show. Sanjeev, who entered Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 as one of the wildcard contestants, told Ciby that Vijay's children were moved by his activities on the show. Ciby said, "Since Sanjeev is a close friend of Vijay, they had discussed about Bigg Boss and told me that they began watching the show for him, but his children liked me a lot. This news gave me a lot of happiness since Vijay is a big reason for my growth after Master. With his kids as well now taking a liking to me, this is heartening and I never expected this."

With Ciby Chandran now emerging as one of the hottest names among the youth after Bigg Boss 5, he will be looking to carry forward the successful momentum next in Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan, which has been announced for a grand theatrical release on February 4. The upcoming rural family action entertainer has Ciby cast in an important role, and he will be looking to make more heads turn this time, especially after the fame he has attained with his appearance on Bigg Boss Tamil season 5.
