The highly anticipated first look of Thalapathy 66 has been officially unveiled and it has instantly set the social media on fire. Thalapathy 66 has been titled Varisu and it is indeed an interesting title. The title piques our curiosity and it looks like an interesting film is on the cards. Vijay looks smart and classy in this poster that carries a tag line - the boss returns. The first look is going to be the talk of the K-town for the next few hours, something that regularly happens for Vijay films. The second look poster of the film will be released tonight at 12 AM and that will make the day further special and memorable for all the fans.

Thalapathy Vijay is celebrating his birthday tomorrow (June 22) and the first look and title revelation has served as the perfect treat for the fans. The shooting of the film is currently progressing at a brisk pace and around 50 - 60% of the shoot has been wrapped up. The remaining portions will be shot in the coming months. The film is scheduled to have a grand theatrical release for the festive occasion of Pongal in January 2023 and it will be released in Tamil and Telugu. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally, best known for helming ventures like Thozha (with Karthi) and Mahesh Babu's Maharshi.

With cinematography by Karthik Palani of Adipurush fame and editing by Praveen KL, this Vijay starrer has music composed by S Thaman who is in the prime form of his career. Thaman's songs are going to play a vital role and the fans are eagerly looking forward to listening to the songs. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in this film, marking her first-ever association with Vijay and second film in Tamil after Karthi's Sulthan. Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Shaam, Sangitha Krish, Srikanth, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, and others play supporting roles. Check out the first look poster here:
