Thalapathy Vijay will be teaming up with Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally for his next outing, Thalapathy 66 and the film has got high expectations among the fans and film buffs. Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead, marking her first association with Vijay. Interestingly, Thalapathy 66 is Rashmika's second outing in Tamil cinema after Sulthan. Thalapathy 66 will have music composed by SS Thaman, who is currently in his prime form. After several months of pre-production, Thalapathy 66 is all set to go on floors.

Thalapathy Vijay took part in the pooja along with Rashmika, Thaman, director Vamshi, producer Dil Raju, and others. Vijay was spotted wearing a blue denim shirt looking classy and handsome. The pictures from the pooja event have surfaced on social media and have been doing great rounds since morning.
