Actor Vijay is expected to soon kick off the shooting for his next, the tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, with director Vamshi Paidipally of Thozha and Maharshi fame, which is set to be made on a massive scale under reputed Telugu film producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. That said, Vamshi on Tuesday announced that he will be co-producing the upcoming Telugu venture titled JGM, which is short for Jana Gana Mana, with Charmme Kaur and will star youth sensation Vijay Deverakonda under Puri Jagannadh's direction. Speaking at the JGM launch event, Vamshi went on to share his thoughts about teaming up with Vijay for Thalapathy 66 and Vijay Deverakonda in JGM.

Addressing media persons, Vamshi stated, "It's pretty exciting, actually, to work with Vijay Deverakonda is like working with a brother. And, working with Vijay sir is like working with one superstar, who has such a big legacy." He further said, "It gives me immense pride in being associated with this film (JGM) and then directing such a huge superstar too (Vijay). But, as the balancing act comes here, Charmme is there to represent us much. She's going to relieve us of much of those jobs and everything. The thing is that we're all here to think whatever as a director and a producer, as Vijay Deverakonda said, our aim is to make good films and that's what we want to do at the end of the day." There has been tremendous buzz surrounding Thalapathy 66 as the film's producer Dil Raju had in an interview to a Telugu media house back in January revealed that the Vijay-starrer will be a family-centric story along the lines of the actor's Poove Unakkaga and Thulladha Manamum Thullum. He added that the film will be a heart-warming family entertainer and a complete package of action and good songs. As for Vijay, the superstar's Beast directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures banner and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on April 13.
