An exciting project right from the get go, Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay in the lead role will be his third-time association with director Atlee after their previous blockbusters, Theri and Mersal.


Being produced under the AGS Entertainment banner, filming is already underway for Vijay 63, which also includes Nayanthara as the female lead followed by Kathir, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Dheena, Anandaraj among others in supporting roles with Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman scoring the music and Vivek penning the lyrics.


With shooting on the film progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai, popular composer Santhosh Narayanan took to his Twitter page to pitch a special request in a fun-filled manner to Vivek asking him to frequently provide more Thalapathy 63 updates while also conveying regards to the Sarkar lyricist.
