A film that has many fans quite excited, ‘Thala’ Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai is coming out in theatres this week on August 8 amidst massive expectations. Produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner, director H. Vinoth has helmed this courtroom drama, which also is an official remake of the Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer, Pink. With Mr. G. Srinivasan of S. Pictures, Mr. K.Rajamannar of Kanthaswamy Arts Centre & Mr. Raahul recently acquiring the film’s distribution rights, Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies too will now be releasing Nerkonda Paarvai across Chennai city, Trichy and Salem. That said, the official list of theatres the film will be released in Chennai has been revealed and will be hitting as many as 22 major screens across the city.
Nerkonda Paarvai’s promotions are being carried at an active pace for quite sometime now with the makers releasing all songs and theme tracks from the film with the romantic melody ballad, ‘Agalaathey’ turning out to be a chartbuster. In comparison to the duration of Pink, which stands at 2 hours and 16 minutes, Nerkonda Paarvai’s runtime has been revealed to be 2 hours and 38 minutes with an action fight sequence and Ajith’s character in the film being given more depth.
