Actor Ajith has had a terrific 2019 so far as his Viswasam released earlier this year for Pongal went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in the superstar’s career. ‘Thala’, as he is lovingly called by his countless fans, tasted yet another success with his latest film, Nerkonda Paarvai, produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H. Vinoth. Ajith also recently participated in the 45th Tamil Nadu State Shooting Championship held recently at Coimbatore where he qualified for the National Level Rifle Competition, which will be held in December at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, his upcoming film, tentatively titled Thala 60, is all set to kick-off production after a formal pooja towards the end of this month. That said, pictures of the star sporting a clean-shaven look with his hair dyed to black alongside a fan have now gone viral on social media, leaving many saying he looks just as young as he did 10-15 years back.
Announced for an April 2020 worldwide theatrical release, Thala 60 will see Ajith teaming up for the second consecutive time with director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner after Nerkonda Paarvai, which has turned out to be a commercial and critical success. As of now, Thala 60 has been revealed to be an out-and-out intense action film, which producer Boney Kapoor and director H. Vinoth have stated will cater to family audiences. The rest of the cast and technical crew are expected to be revealed when the film goes down on floors later towards the end of this month.
