Ajith Kumar's father passed away - Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin's heartfelt condolences! Here's the official statement!

Ajith Kumar is one the leading and well-known actors who have worked predominantly in Tamil Films. The father of the actor, P.S. Mani alias P. Subramaniam, passed away in the early hours of 24th March. It is a stated that he died due to health issues in his sleep and was suffering from various ailments after a stroke four years back. Following the death, Ajith Kumar and two of his brothers Anup Kumar and Anil Kumar shared an official statement saying they want the last rites of their father PS Mani to be private and they want to mourn the loss privately.

Many public figures, members of the film fraternity and fans have been sending their condolences to the family. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin has released a statement of condolence. The press releases stated “I (MK Stalin) am saddened to hear the news about the demise of Mr Subramaniam the father of actor Mr Ajith Kumar due to ill health. My deepest condolences to Mr Ajith Kumar who is facing the loss of his father and his family.”

Udhayanidhi Stalin’s son who is a minister and a Well-Known actor has also shared condolence saying “I was saddened to hear the demise of the loving father of actor Mr Ajith Kumar, Mr PS Mani. I went to Ajith's residence and paid respects to the mortal remains of his father and condoled the family."

The head of the opposition party Edappadi Palaniswami and other important persons O Pannerselvam, Kushbu Sundar sent their condolences to Ajith Kumar and his family over their loss. Many actors and actresses who have worked with Ajith Kumar in various films have also shared their heartfelt condolences to Ajith Kumar and his family. The actor Ajith Kumar is known to be a private person and has not shared much about his father. It is said that P. Subramaniam has been residing in Palakkad, Kerala, for most of his life but, in recent years he shifted to Ajith's place to get treatment for his ailments.
