Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan directed by Pandiraj is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on February 4 and promotions are being carried out in an active manner by production banner Sun Pictures. Directed by Pandiraj, the upcoming mass rural family action entertainer has music composed by D. Imman, with two songs from the film - 'Vaada Thambi' and 'Ullam Urugudhaiya' - so far receiving positive feedback from fans. With the theatrical release less than a month away now, Sun Pictures on Friday on the festive occasion of Pongal has treated fans to a major surprise by dropping a short promo for the third single from Etharkkum Thunindhavan titled 'Summa Surrunu', while also announcing that the song will be out on January 16 at 6 p.m.

'Summa Surrunu' in Etharkkum Thunindhavan has been revealed to have been sung by Armaan Malik and Nikhita Gandhi and features lyrics by actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan. Based on the short promo, the song is a peppy number and will leave fans wanting to tap their feet and shake their legs, with the visuals showing Suriya and the film's female lead Priyanka Arul Mohan dancing their hearts out. The lyrics of 'Summa Surrunu' also seem to be catchy and will appeal especially to the kids and the youth and is set to be yet another memorable number for Sivakarthikeyan after he penned lyrics for songs like 'Kalyana Vayasu' in Kolamaavu Kokila, 'Gaandha Kannazhagi' in Namma Veettu Pillai and more recently, 'Chellamma' and 'So Baby' in Doctor.
