Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan is all set for a grand theatrical release on March 10 and the prestigious production banner Sun Pictures is going full out in bringing the film out to audiences. Directed by Pandiraj, the upcoming pan-Indian film coming out in 5 languages under the title ET is being promoted extensively, with its overseas release to be done by Hamsini Entertainment, the reputed distributor announced on Monday. The announcement from Hamsini Entertainment has come a day after Asian Cinemas revealed that they have bagged the Telugu distribution rights for ET and Suriya fans are now counting down the days for the film's release in theatres next month. Etharkkum Thunindhavan marks the first time Suriya and Pandiraj are working together in a film after the actor produced Kadaikutty Singam under his 2D Entertainment banner, which featured his brother Karthi in the lead role and was directed by the blockbuster filmmaker. Touted to be a mass action rural family entertainer, Sun Pictures are promoting the film extensively ahead of its release next month as the response for the promotional material revealed so far has been stellar. The highly-anticipated Etharkkum Thunindhavan trailer is expected to be released in the days ahead and fans await more action from Suriya in the new visuals.  

The cast for Etharkkum Thunindhavan has created a lot of excitement among fans as Suriya will be seen opposite Priyanka Arul Mohan, who became a youth sensation across Tamil Nadu after her debut in Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor. Likewise, another fellow co-star of Priyanka's from Doctor, actor Vinay Rai, who played the antagonist in the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial, is reportedly playing a character with negative shades in the Suriya-starrer. The rest of the Etharkkum Thunindhavan ensemble star cast includes veteran stars Sathyaraj, M. S. Bhaskar, and Saranya Ponvannan in major supporting roles, alongside Dhivya Dhuraisamy, Master and Bigg Boss Tamil 5 fame Ciby Chandran, Vada Chennai actor Saran Shakthi, Ilavarasu, Subbu Panchu among others.
