Following the magnanimous success of Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim, Suriya is now all set and geared up for his next outing, Etharkkum Thunindhavan which will hit the screens on March 10, 2022, on a grand scale. ET will be Suriya's first theatrical release after 2.5 years and the fans have pinned high hopes on the project. Earlier today (Feb 22), the makers took the fans by pleasant surprise by releasing two new posters from the film and the posters have set the fans in excitement. One of the posters feature Suriya and Priyanka Mohan together and the duo make a refreshingly adorable pair on-screen.

It looks like their chemistry will be one of the interesting aspects of the movie. In another poster, we have a charismatic Suriya from the middle of a fight sequence. With just two more weeks there for the movie's release, the makers are actively involved in the promotions and more exciting surprises are expected in the days to come. ET is directed by blockbuster filmmaker Pandiraj who is in great form. Etharkkum Thunindhavan has Vinay playing the key antagonist and his faceoff against Suriya is going to be an interesting aspect to watch out for.

The supporting cast has quite a lot of prominent and budding actors including the likes of Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Ilavarasu, Bigg Boss fame Ciby Chandran, Cook with Comali fame Pugazh, Ramar, Thangadurai, Akash Premkumar, Saran Shakti, Dhivya Dhuraisamy, and others. The film is in the final stages of post production, progressing towards its release. Produced by Sun Pictures, ET will have a pan Indian release in 5 different languages - Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film has music scored by D Imman, while R Ratnavelu and Ruben have handled the cinematography and editing respectively.

Following the release of ET, Suriya will begin shooting for his next movie with director Bala under the production of 2D Entertainment.
