The shooting of Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film Jailer is currently underway. Recently, the crew shot some portions of the movie in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. As per the latest reports, the next shooting location for Jailer will be in Mangalore. Last year, on December 12, Superstar Rajinikanth celebrated his 73rd birthday, and on this occasion, a small teaser for his upcoming film Jailer was released. The film features Rajinikanth in the role of Muthuvel Pandian, and it is being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, known for his work in films such as Kolamavu Kokila, Doctor, and Beast. The movie is being produced by Sun Pictures, who also produced Rajinikanth's previous film Annaatthe. The title look and first-look posters of Jailer have already been released and have received a positive response from fans eagerly awaiting the release of the film. Jailer boasts a star-studded cast, with Superstar Rajinikanth, Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar, and Mollywood Superstar Mohanlal in lead roles. Additionally, actress Ramya Krishnan will be seen sharing the screen with Rajinikanth after two decades. The film will also feature Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Tamannaah in prominent roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for Jailer, marking his third collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth after their previous hits Petta and Darbar.
