With Annaatthe out in theatres now, fans everywhere are in a celebration mode, including celebrities, who have taken to cinema halls to catch a glimpse of Rajinikanth's latest treat. In that light, leading Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan, who is fresh off the blockbuster success of his Doctor, too watched Annaatthe in a popular theatre in Chennai and gave his review for the film during a conversation with Galatta.

Speaking about his experience watching Rajinikanth's Annaatthe , Sivakarthikeyan said, "A 'Thalaivar' film releasing on any date is a Diwali for fans. We have been watching him with so much excitement since childhood and he too has been entertaining us with more excitement all these years. He is an inspiring person. Each time I watch his film, I feel a new energy within myself and I have experienced it once again this time. I convey my wishes to the entire Annaatthe team. Thalaivaa, you are always rocking. Love you!"

Annaatthe has been released with a 'U/A' certificate and is one of the biggest ventures for Sun Pictures in recent times with Rajinikanth after they previously collaborated for Enthiran (2010) and Petta (2019). The film has the Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner sharing screen space once again with actresses Khushbu and Meena after more than two decades, with Keerthy Suresh playing his sister and Nayanthara as the heroine.
