Raghava Lawrence has several interesting projects in his pipeline and one among those happens to be Durga which was officially announced a few months before. Earlier today (January 5), an exciting announcement on Durga was made by Raghava Lawrence and it has taken the fans by surprise. Lawrence introduced the director of the film and one wouldn't have expected this development to happen. Durga will be directed by renowned stunt directors duo, Anbarivu, the twin brothers.

Anbariv Masters, who won the National Film Award for Best Stunt Choreography for their work in the blockbuster hit film, KGF: Chapter 1, have worked together on several other biggies including the likes of Kabali, 24, Iru Mugan, Sandakozhi 2, Kaithi, Sarpatta Parambarai, Doctor, Jai Bhim, and more. The talented stunt choreographers duo has also worked in the upcoming biggies like Etharkkum Thunindhavan, Ayalaan, KGF: Chapter 2, Vikram, and Beast. Durga will mark their directorial debut.

Assuring that Durga will be a power-packed film, Raghava Lawrence tweeted, "I’m so happy and proud to introduce our Renowned stunt masters @anbariv as directors of #Durga movie under #RagavendraProduction! Similarly, Anbariv Masters also expressed their happiness about making their directorial debut with Durga and the duo called it to be their dream. According to reports, Durga is expected to go on floors very soon and the pre-production works are said to be happening in full swing. The film is produced by Lawrence's Raghavendra Production.
