Leading South Indian actress Hansika Motwani's landmark 50th film, Maha, is all set to open in cinemas worldwide on July 22 and promotions are now in full swing. Directed by U. R. Jameel, a former associate of Romeo Juliet, Bogan, and Bhoomi fame Lakshman, the upcoming film produced by Mathiyalagan V's Etcetera Entertainment banner, will also feature Silambarasan TR in an extended cameo in a role that has him making an appearance for nearly forty minutes. With only a few days left for its theatrical release, the Simbu-Hansika on-screen pairing in Maha has been a key element in creating the buzz as the team has unveiled a new sneak peek showcasing a cute romantic moment between the two stars.

The Maha sneak peek offers fans an additional glimpse into the romance between STR and Hansika in the film, which will no doubt be a major USP considering their pairing in 2015's Vaalu was well-received. This new glimpse from the thriller drama film is the latest to be released after the team had earlier dropped a teaser and a couple of trailers. Maha will apparently revolve around Hansika going in search of her missing daughter and it will no doubt be interesting to witness her alongside Silambarasan once again on the big screen.

Srikanth, known best for his Roja Kootam, April Maadhathil, and Poo, including sharing screen space with 'Thalapathy' Vijay and Jiiva in the 2012 blockbuster Nanban directed by Shankar, will be seen opposite Hansika in Maha, which also has in its supporting cast names like Karunakaran, Thambi Ramaiah, Baby Manasvi, among others. The film also marks Hansika's return to Tamil cinema screens after she last starred opposite Atharvaa in the 2019 cop drama venture 100
