Leading Tamil actor Silambarasan TR will be seen next in an extended cameo in Hansika's Maha releasing in theatres worldwide on July 22. Directed by U. R. Jameel and produced under Mathiyalagan V's Etcetera Entertainment banner, the upcoming thriller drama has generated quite a lot of excitement among Simbu's fans ahead of its release as it is the flamboyant actor's next big-screen appearance after the blockbuster success of Maanaadu in 2021. That being said, producer Mathiyalagan on Monday shared a video of fans putting up a 1,000 feet banner of STR in Maha in Madurai in Tamil Nadu, which is the first-ever such record in Tamil cinema.

Sharing the video on Twitter, producer Mathiyalagan wrote, "First time in Kollywood had done this record of *1000 feet of Maha Simbhu* poster in our Temple City Madurai #1000FeetofMahasimbhu". Featuring the theme music of Maanaadu, the video shows an aerial view of the 1,000 feet poster on the roads of Madurai and also has a voice-over of Simbu's speech describing a person's comeback in life akin to a racer in F1 race. Simbu will be seen playing the role of a pilot in Maha and his chemistry with Hansika in the film is being billed to be a major highlight. Check out the video from Maha's producer in the tweet below:

Maha will mark the first time STR and Hansika will be sharing screen space together once again after their 2015 film, Vaalu, which turned out to be a box office success. The upcoming film is Hansika's landmark 50th venture and stars Srikanth in the lead role, with the supporting cast featuring names like Karunkaran, Thambi Ramaiah, Baby Manasvi among others, and has music composed by Ghibran.
