Recently, Nayanthara celebrated her birthday on November 18th! She rung in her special day at New York, with her beau Vignesh Shivn. The young and dynamic couple have been on vacation in the USA and while there, they met up with producer Boney Kapoor who entered Kollywood by bankrolling Thala Ajith's recently released Nerkonda Paarvai. Photos of this meet went viral on the internet and spawned off a number of rumours, one of which was that Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP would be taking over the production of Vignesh Shivn's next directorial venture - SK17! However, we now have an important update in this regard!

SK17 Sivakarthikeyan Vignesh Shivn movie not to be produced by Boney Kapoor

SK17 was originally slated to be produced by Lyca Productions but the recent reports suggest that all is not well in paradise and that the production house might opt out of this project. However, this has not been confirmed by the production house nor the SK17 team. We have a strong denial that Boney Kapoor would not be bankrolling SK17 from our source close to the movie's team. Thus, if all goes as planned, SK17 would continue to be made under the Lyca Productions banner. There are also speculations that Boney Kapoor's meet with Nayanthara was concerning roping her in to play the female lead in his next venture - Thala 60!

Thala 60, which has been titled Valimai, will bring back the Nerkonda Paarvai combo of Ajith and director H Vinoth. The entire team of Valimai are tight-lipped about the progress of the movie and not much is known yet about even the cast and crew. Meanwhile, Nayanthara has finished shooting for Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar and has Netrikann with director Milind Rau in progress. She will also be seen as the lead in RJ Balaji's next movie Mookuthi Amman, which is also his co-directorial venture.
