One of the most-awaited films in recent times, Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced under Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on November 25. Billed to be a mass masala political entertainer, with the plot centered around the concept of time-loop, blockbuster filmmaker turned actor SJ Suryah, who has been cast in a pivotal role in the film, took to social media on Tuesday to share jaw-dropping details about the efforts he had undertaken for Maanaadu. He tweeted, "I almost covered 8days dubbing work of mypart for “MAANAADU”,in 5days.My naadi, narambu, neck, back, spine and throat are gone& begging me to give minimum10days rest(heavy work-valli pinnudhu)BUTafter seeing the out-put , tell U all one thing DIWALI NOV25TH THANDA." Check out SJ Suryah's tweet below:

SJ Suryah is playing a crucial role in Simbu's Maanaadu, which had an intriguing and action-packed trailer released earlier this month and featured both stars in a number of intense sequences. The hit director-actor will be seen playing the role of a police officer and the Maanaadu trailer showed him going after STR in a number of scenes. SJ Suryah has had words of high praise right from the moment the film went on floors early last year, while also sharing his positive views on what fans can expect during a Twitter Spaces session a few months back. Having carved a niche for himself as a powerhouse performer over the years in films like Iraivi, Mersal, Monster and Nenjam Marappathillai, SJ Suryah will no doubt be looking to hit it out of the park with Maanaadu when it comes out next month.

Currently in its final stages of post-production, Maanaadu has Silambarasan paired opposite youth sensation Kalyani Priyadarshan, with the film's ensemble cast featuring names like Karunakaran, Premgi Amaren, Manoj Bharathiraja, Daniel Annie Pope, Y. Gee. Mahendra and veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathiraja in important supporting roles and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
