Sivakarthikeyan will be joining hands with director KV Anudeep of Jathi Ratnalu fame for a Tamil - Telugu bilingual and the film is tentatively called SK 20. The film was officially launched with a special pooja event that took place today morning (February 10) in the presence of the main cast and crew. The pictures from the launch event have now been released by the makers and it has caught the attention of the film buffs. The shooting of the film has also commenced today after the pooja. The first schedule of SK 20 will take place at Karaikkudi, Tamil Nadu and the scenes featuring SK are to be shot in this schedule.

Sathyaraj will be playing a pivotal role in this movie, marking his reunion with Sivakarthikeyan following the massive success of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Kanaa. The rest of the cast are yet to be officially announced and further details are awaited. Rumours are also rife that a foreign actress will be playing the female lead in the film. This Sivakarthikeyan starrer will have music composed by S Thaman, marking his first association with SK. Manoj Paramahamsa, the cinematographer of Vijay's Beast, will be cranking the camera for this film. 

SK 20 is touted to be a romantic comedy entertainer that will appeal to all kinds of audiences. According to reports, SK 20 follows the story of a foreign woman from London who comes to Pondicherry and meets a Tamil tourist guide (played by Sivakarthikeyan). Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan's next release in Tamil cinema will be Don which is set to hit the screens on March 25. Produced by Lyca Productions in association with SK Productions, the film is directed by debutant Cibi Chakaravarthi and has music composed by Anirudh. Apart from Don, SK also has Ayalaan which is currently in the post production stages. The film is expected to hit the screens in the latter half of this year.
