Leading actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan is basking in the massive success of his latest film, Don, which released in theatres on May 13. Directed by debutant Cibi Chakravarthy, a former associate of blockbuster filmmaker Atlee, and produced jointly under the Lyca Productions and Sivakarthikeyan Productions banners, the youth comedy college entertainer featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander entered the 100 crore club in 12 days and has gotten a huge response from fans everywhere. In that light, Sivakarthikeyan informed fans on Monday that he received wishes from none other than 'Superstar' Rajinikanth for the success of Don. SK tweeted a photo with the iconic actor and wrote, "With the DON of Indian cinema 🙏❤️ Met super star @rajinikanth sir and got his blessings.. Likewise, Don director Cibi Chakaravarthi, who has often professed his love and deep admiration for Rajinikanth, too shared a photo of his meeting with the superstar and spoke about how they discussed Don and many other things. Sivakarthikeyan's Don has turned out to be a phenomenal box office success and is the second consecutive occasion the actor-producer's film has hit 100 crore box office collections after his Doctor last year. The film, which has SK locking horns with Samuthirakani and SJ Suryah for a majority of the story, has several interesting twists and turns keeping audiences hooked to their seats. Don is also the second time Sivakarthikeyan has shared screen space with youth sensation Priyanka Arul Mohan and their chemistry as well is yet another major USP apart from the ensemble supporting cast featuring the likes of Soori, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Bala Saravanan, Mirchi Vijay, Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, Raju Jeyamohan, Shariq Hassan, George Maryan, Radha Ravi, Singampuli, among others, with filmmaker Gautham Menon as well appearing in a cameo.
