Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan has a highly-promising film lineup ahead and one among the ventures is the highly-anticipated Telugu film, Sita Ramam, which will also be coming out in Malayalam and Tamil as well. Set in the year 1964, the upcoming film billed to be an epic period love story has been directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of the Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi-starrer Padi Padi Leche Manasu fame and will see the leading Malayalam actor sharing screen space with Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur and youth sensation Rashmika Mandanna. Produced by Swapna Cinema and being presented by Vyjayanthi Movies, the reputed banners behind Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati, promotions for Sita Ramam have kicked off as the makers on Saturday released the film's teaser giving us our first the first visuals of Dulquer and Mrunal as the lead pair. 

The Sita Ramam easer starts off showing us Dulquer as an army man stationed in the cold regions of the Himalayas before Mrunal Thakur is introduced as his lover. The teaser offers us glimpses of the two stars and the romance between them along with the announcement that the film will open in cinemas worldwide on August 5. Apart from Dulquer and Mrunal, Sita Ramam will also feature national sensation Rashmika in a pivotal role, who will reportedly fight to unite the two lovers. 

Sita Ramam has Dulquer playing the role of Lieutenant Ram, while Mrunal is cast as Sita, followed by Rashmika essaying the character Afreen. Expectations for the film have been high ever since it was announced and all promotional material released so far has received positive feedback from fans, who have expressed their interest in witnessing an epic romance on the big screen. Sita Ramam has generated a lot of curiosity as it has Dulquer once again crossing borders and speaking Telugu after his impressive performance in Mahanati. The film also has a talented technical team featuring the likes of music director Vishal Chandrashekhar. cinematographers PS Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna, and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, while the dialogues have been written by Hanu Raghavapudi, Jay Krishna, and Raj Kumar Kandamudi.
