The highly talented playback singer Chinmayi Sripaada has given birth to twin babies - a boy and a girl, and both the mother and the newborn are doing good. Chinmayi took to official social media pages to make a formal announcement on the same and the news has taken her followers and well-wishers by pleasant surprise. Chinmayi got married to popular actor and director Rahul Ravindran in May 2014 and there has been no look back since then. The couple have named their baby girl, Driptah and boy, Sharvas.

Announcing the news, Chinmayi wrote on her official Facebook page, "Driptah and Sharvas The new and forever center of our Universe. ❤️ @rahulr_23 Throughout my pregnancy I had a lot of people commenting right here on Facebook, many on Instagram and Twitter about me not having kids or not being woman enough etc etc. I understood first hand the pressure women go through and watched it silently. More on this later. But it has been a learning experience about people". Similarly, Chinmayi also mentioned that not many knew about her pregnancy, adding that only her very close circle of people knew about it.

Talking about it, Chinmayi wrote on her Instagram page, "I'm absolutely loving these people who are DM-ing me asking if I had twins through a surrogate just because I didn't post photos of me being pregnant. Only those who were my innermost circle knew because I was protecting myself. I was and will always be extremely guarded about my personal life. My family, my friends circle. Photos of our kids won't be on our socials either for a long while. And if you to need to know, I actually sang a bhajan during the caesarean as our twins entered the world. Get a grip of that. More on this later. But for now, this is enough".

Wishes have been pouring in from all quarters for Chinmayi and Rahul and at this moment, we at Galatta Media extend our heartfelt congratulations to the couple.
