The much-awaited big announcement on Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is out. For the last few weeks, the fans have been waiting for the announcement about the audio release plans of VTK and the exciting details are now out. The songs of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will be released through a super grand audio launch which will take place on September 2, Friday at the Vels University in Pallavaram. The audio launch has been planned on a massive scale and it is said that the fans are in for many exciting surprises. The theatrical trailer of the film will also be released on the same day as the launch event.

Suppose the rumours on social media are to be believed, in that case, Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan are likely to be invited for the audio and trailer launch event and more surprise celebrities are also expected to be a part of the grand occasion. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu has music composed by A.R.Rahman whose two singles - 'Kaalathukkum Nee Venum' and the recently released 'Marakkuma Nenjam' have turned out to be big hits among the masses. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon who is getting back with Silambarasan TR for the third time following the success of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada.

Produced by Vels Film International, the film features Siddhi Idnani as the female lead and she will be playing the character of Paavai. Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Appukutty form the supporting cast in this action drama that has cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni. Rajeevan and Anthony have headed the production design and editing departments respectively. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is slated to hit the screens on September 15 and the film will have a grand release across Tamil Nadu through the banner of Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. VTK will be Simbu's next release in Tamil cinema after the phenomenal success of Maanaadu and the fans have pinned high hopes on this one.
