That seems to be a winning combo! Shankar may have missed out directing Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu in the Telugu remake of 3 Idiots, but now here comes something bigger. We all know that the ace director is busy with his next project I which has Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles. Now it looks like the director is planning to take I to Bollywood soon. It is rumoured that the director had already approached Hrithik Roshan to play the lead role but he couldn't accept the offer due to date hassles.
And the good news is that Shankar has opted for Mahesh Babu to play the lead role in the Hindi version. Sources say that the two had a hush-hush meeting in Chennai regarding the project.
