Popular Hindi television serial actress Aastha Chaudhary will be tying the knot with her beau Aditya Banerjee, a doctor, on April 25. The couple, who earlier had a Roka ceremony last September, will exchange their vows in Allahabad in a simple wedding ceremony that will also include rituals like lagan, mehendi, and haldi. Currently starring as the lead in the serial Kesari Nandan, Aastha initially had plans for her wedding to take place in Vrindavan since she's a Lord Krishna devotee but had since opted out. Despite the change in the wedding venue from Vrindavan to Allahabad, the couple found a solution and will instead be performing a special ritual at the holy town in Uttar Pradesh.

In an interview with ETimes, Aastha said, "Now that we can’t get married in Vrindavan, Aditya and I will visit the sacred place around Holi for Lord Krishna’s darshan. We will also offer our wedding card and rings. I want Krishna to bless us for our new journey together." She added, "I always wished to have a simple Vedic wedding. I have never been too keen on spending a lot of money on my big day in an attempt to make it grand. We aren’t doing too many things and even the functions and rituals are a bare minimum, which will take place on April 23, two days prior to the wedding." The actress has also made changes to her honeymoon plans in Italy in view of the Covid-19 situation. She stated, "We had thought of going to Italy, but I am not too keen owing to COVID-led restrictions. I am fine with the idea of not traveling amidst restrictions. We will go for our honeymoon when the situation is better and we can move freely."

Outside of her work on Kesari Nandan, Aastha Chaudhary made a name for herself name after her appearances on shows like Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai, Aise Karo Naa Vidaa, C.I.D. and Uttaran.
