Sarvam Thaala Mayam, which is also titled Madras Beats, is a 2019 musical drama film written and directed by Kandukondain Kandukondain famed director Rajiv Menon. The film stars National Award winning music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar and Aparna Balamurali, with a supporting cast that comprises of actors such as Nedumudi Venu, Vineeth, Kumaravel, Santha Dhananjayan, and Dhivyadharshini. The film has its music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Yadav, and editing by Anthony.

Returning to direction after 19 years, Menon makes a comeback with a film that is relevant, entertaining, and inspirational in parts. The film released on 1 February 2019 and went on to be a box office success. Now, the film that has been made available for streaming on Netflix, will now be released in Japan as well. The film is expected to hit the Japanese screens on 1 October 2022.

The film revolves around a young aspiring musician and the numerous struggles he faces when he sets out to learn music owing to his caste and how he overcomes various discrimination in the conservative society forms the crux of the story. Ravi Yadav and Anthony have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the movie. 

Earlier this year, Karthi's Kaithi was released in Russia and Aishwarya Rajesh's Kanaa hit the screens in China. Tamil film lovers are eager to know if Sarvam Thaala Mayam would make any impact on the Japanese audience.
