Leading Tamil actor Dhanush will begin filming Captain Miller soon under Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame Arun Matheswaran's direction and prestigious production banner Sathya Jyothi Films has dropped one casting announcement after another over the last four days. In that light, on Tuesday, September 20, the blockbuster production house announced that actors John Kokken and Moor have been added to the cast of Captain Miller, which is aiming for a grand summer 2023 theatrical release.

John Kokken, who delivered a knockout performance as the antagonist boxer Vembuli in Pa. Ranjith's Sarpatta Parambarai, will be looking to score big in his role in Captain Miller. Likewise, the casting of actor Moor, who is best known for his role in Malayalam superstar Tovino Thomas' action thriller Kala, has been described to be "a tinge of craziness" by director Arun Matheswaran on Twitter, and it raises quite a lot of curiosity about his role in the upcoming film, which is set to be a big action-adventure. Earlier, the makers had announced that Dhanush will be paired opposite youth sensation Priyanka Arul Mohan, while Maanagaram fame Sundeep Kishan and Sillu Karuppatti actress Nivedhithaa Sathish have been cast in crucial roles in Captain Miller.
