Leading Tamil actor Karthi is set to appear in three biggies in 2022 that include the much-awaited Viruman slated for release on August 31, followed by Mani Ratnam's epic Ponniyin Selvan: 1 on September 30, and the highly-anticipated Sardar hitting screens as a grand Diwali treat on October 24. Among them, the crime-thriller Sardar will see the star in dual roles and is currently in the post-production stage under Irumbu Thirai and Hero fame PS Mithran's direction. Produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under the Prince Pictures banner, director PS Mithran on Wednesday took to social media and shared a video of himself and Karthi from the dubbing studio where the duo is discussing the delivery of a dialogue on the lines of 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Nayakan, but with a slight twist.
