Actor Sai Pallavi made a stunning debut in Malayalam in 2015 in the rom-com, Premam starring Nivin Pauly, Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameswaran.

She delivered yet another headstrong performance in Dulquer Salmaan’s Kali.

Sai Pallavi the branched out into the Telugu film industry last year making her debut in director Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa, which went on to become a success.

Following a solid debut there, she then appeared in Middle Class Abbayi opposite Nani and the film cemented her position among the hearts of Telugu audiences.

That said, Sai Pallavi’s fans are still in the waiting wanting to see her in a Tamil film.

Last week, it was announced that the talented actor’s Tamil debut, Karu, directed by A. L. Vijay would hit screens on February 9.

Produced under the Lyca Productions banner with music by Sam C. S., Karu has Naga Shourya and RJ Balaji in vital roles and has now reportedly been postponed to February 23 thereby steering away from the several releases lined up on the February 9 date.

It must be noted that Karu has also been made as a bilingual in Telugu under the title Kanam.

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi’s next Tamil film will be Dhanush’s Maari 2 which also includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Krishna Kulasekaran and Tovino Thomas as part of the ensemble cast.

Furthermore, she’s also playing one of the female leads in ace director Selvaraghavan’s Suriya 36 starring Suriya and Rakul Preet Singh.
