Sai Pallavi's Gargi is one of the releases of this week and the film will be hitting the screens on Friday, July 15. The film will be presented in Tamil Nadu through the banner of Suriya and Jyotika's 2D Entertainment and the star couple's addition to the crew will indeed be taking the film to a wider range of audience. Gargi is directed by Gautham Ramachandran who had earlier directed the Nivin Pauly starrer Richie. Ahead of the movie's release, the makers have now released a new scene from the film as a sneak peek and this scene gives us a picture of the intense mood of the film.

From what we see, it looks like Gargi will be a riveting and intense drama that will strike a chord with the masses and Sai Pallavi seems to have delivered one of her best performances. The sneak peek is a talkie sequence between Sai Pallavi and a police officer. Sai Pallavi enquires the reason behind the arrest of her father as she firmly believes that her father has been falsely accused of a crime that he did not commit. However, the Police mention that they arrested him only after carrying out several rounds of enquiry and research. The scene has piqued the curiosity of the audience and has opened to a favourable response.

Kaali Venkat, Aishwarya Lekshmi, RS Shivaji, Kalaimaamani Saravanan, Jayaprakash, Prathap, Sudha, Livingston, Kavithalaya Krishnan, Kalesh Ramanand play supporting roles in this courtroom drama that has music composed by Govind Vasantha. Produced by Ravichandran Ramachandran, Thomas George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Ramachandran under the banner of Blacky, Genie & My Left Foot Production, the film has cinematography handled by Sraiyanti and Premkrishna Akkatu.
