Sai Pallavi's Gargi is all set for its theatrical release tomorrow (July 15) and the fans are eagerly looking forward to watching the film on the big screens. The film has already garnered highly positive reviews from its press shows and special screenings and it looks like Tamil cinema has got another potential winner in hand. Gargi is directed by Gautham Ramachandran of Richie fame and has music composed by Govind Vasantha. Suriya and Jyotika will be presenting the film across Tamil Nadu through their banner of 2D Entertainment and their presence has surely made the film reach a wider range of audiences.

Kaali Venkat, Aishwarya Lekshmi, RS Shivaji, Kalaimaamani Saravanan, Jayaprakash, Prathap, Sudha, Livingston, Kavithalaya Krishnan, Kalesh Ramanand play supporting roles in this courtroom drama that has music composed by Govind Vasantha. Produced by Ravichandran Ramachandran, Thomas George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Ramachandran under the banner of Blacky, Genie & My Left Foot Production, the film has cinematography handled by Sraiyanti and Premkrishna Akkatu. Written by Gautham Ramachandran and Hariharan Raju, the film has been edited by Shafique Mohamed Ali.

With less than 24 hours away from the release of the film, the makers have now released a new scene from the film as a sneak peek. This scene features Sai Pallavi and Kalesh Ramanand who delivered a solid performance as Selva in the blockbuster hit Malayalam film, Hridayam. Kalesh who plays Gargi's boyfriend, convinces her to come along with him and get married. He tells her that her father is not going to come back, but she is confident of fighting against all the odds and bring back her father. The film will revolve around the life of Gargi who needs to fight for the justice of her father who has been arrested by the Police for a crime that he might or might not have committed.
