Looks like all is not well for the release of Anushka's Tamil-Telugu bilingual Rudramadevi, which has received positive accolades from the Censor Board official for its sheer brilliance. After few continuous postponement of the release dates, the film was likely to hit screens on Oct 9.However, there is a buzz that the post-production work is still not completed and film's release is likely to be delayed again.

Directed and produced by Gunasekhar, Rudramadevi is the first Indian 3D historic film which is based on the life of Rudramadevi played by Anushka, who is a 13th century Queen of the Kakatiya dynasty. The epic drama has a long line up of actors such as Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Suman, Prakash Raj, Adithya Menon, Vikramjeet Virk, Nithya Menen, Aditi Chengappa, Catherine Tresa, Hamsa Nandini, Ajay, Baba Sehgal, Tanikella Bharani, Madhumitha and Brahmanandam. The music and background score of the film is composed by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
