Blockbuster Telugu director SS Rajamouli's RRR is finally set to open in theatres worldwide on March 25 after several delays due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. The upcoming period action drama, which has been made on a grand scale by DVV Entertainment, and starring Telugu superstars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles, also features Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt as the female lead, with music composed by M. M. Keeravani AKA. Maragadhamani, whose songs have received stellar feedback from fans. With less than two weeks for RRR's release in theatres, the makers on Saturday evening released a promo for the 'Koelae' song in the film, which is featured on Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and Alia Bhatt tapping their feet to MM Keeravani's thunderous beats.

Biiled as the 'RRR Celebration Anthem', 'Koelae' has vocals by Vishal Mishra, Benny Dayal, Sahithi Chaganti, and Harika Narayan and lyrics penned by Karky, with the promo also carrying the announcement that the full video song will be out on March 14 at 4 p.m. The song's promo shows the Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and Alia Bhatt trio giving a glimpse at what can be expected in theatres and it looks like fans too will join them in dancing their hearts out during the celebrations when RRR arrives on the big screen. The visuals for 'Koelae' are expected to be on the lines of the 'Naathu Koothu song', which became a colossal hit across the country after it showed Jr. NTR and Ram Charan shaking their feet in tandem, with fans as well coming out with their own dance cover versions.

Based on Telugu freedom fighters, RRR will see Ram Charan portraying the role of Sitarama Raju, while Jr NTR will essay the character of Komaram Bheem. Apart from Alia Bhatt as the female lead, the film also features actress Olivia Morris, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn, followed by Tamil actor Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran among others in pivotal roles, while Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody will reportedly be playing the antagonists. A pan-Indian venture, RRR's Tamil dubbed version will be released in Tamil Nadu by Lyca Productions.
