2019 has been a favourable year for Thala Ajith Kumar, since he has had 2 releases, Viswasam and Ner Konda Paarvai, since 2015. Both of these films are a huge Box Office success and the latter is still going strong despite this week's releases. On that note, Rohini Silver Screens since their comeback after the renovation has been the fans' fort and its Manager, Nikilesh Surya recently shared his opinion on NKP's performance at the box office. Nikilesh has shared that Ajith has been a saviour at the box office this year. He also hoped that Vijay's Bigil and other Pooja holiday releases like Namma Veettu Pillai will make things much better.
Coming back to Ner Konda Paarvai, the movie has been appreciated by the critics for being true to its original, Pink. Ajith's next project which is tentatively titled as Thala 60 will be the second consecutive collaboration between Ajith Kumar, H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor.
As far as Bigil is concerned, the post-production is going on in a racy pace and the makers are working towards a Deepavali 2019 release. A few more days of shoot with the rest of the actors excluding Vijay is left to be shot.
