British model and reality TV star Katie Salmon has announced that she is expecting her first child. The youth sensation, who rose to fame after her appearance during the second season of the hit ITV reality show Love Island in 2016, took to social media on Tuesday to drop the big news of her pregnancy with her fiancé Harry. Sharing a video that featured a montage of their journey as a couple so far, Salmon wrote in the caption: "Been Busy Creating Life. First came love, then came you! 6 months pregnant with our biggest blessing... I’ve kept this between close friends and family for a while but my beautiful baby bump is getting hard to hide. We love you so much already baby and cannot wait to meet you... I couldn’t do this journey with anybody else other than my best friend. 2022 my favourite year off all, The year I marry my love and we become a family."
Several fellow reality TV stars came together to congratulate Katie among whom included The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star Shelby Tribble who commented, "Congratulations", while Ex On The Beach star Helen Briggs wrote, "Oh my god KATIE!!!! CONGRATULATIONS. I know how much this means to you!!" Likewise, Salmon's Love Island co-stars Jessica Hayes said, "Babeeeee this is amazing congratulations baby girl" and Hannah Elizabeth wished her saying, "Omg congrats babe so so happy for you". Katie Salmon garnered a huge fan following after she made history as one half of Love Island's first same-sex couple with the late Sophie Gradon. Last December, the reality star took to Instagram on Christmas Day and revealed that her fiancé Harry had popped the big question and proposed to her on a Thailand beach.
