American rapper G-Eazy was arrested on Monday after an alleged altercation with a man in a New York City club last week. According to the NYPD, the popular rapper has been charged with assault after he allegedly punched a man at a Manhattan club on September 10. During the physical fight, G-Eazy and his associates hit the man with a glass bottle after which he had to get treatment at a hospital. The shocking incident had taken place at around 12.40 a.m. at the Standard hotel when Fashion Week parties were happening in the clubs in the hotel - Le Bain and the Boom Boom Room. 

TMZ has reported that the man allegedly hit by G-Eazy initially refused treatment at the spot when authorities arrived. As per the portal, the man was "charged with assault after a 29-year-old male and 32-year-old male reported being struck by the defendant." PageSix has reported that the ‘No Limit’ rapper smashed a bottle on 32-year-old socialite Daniel Chetrit, who later had to get stitches on his head after the squabble. It is also being stated that a 29-year-old was also assaulted during the brawl. 

NYPD arrested G-Eazy on Monday at around 5.30 a.m. when celebrities were starting to head to the Met Gala in the city. Authorities have stated that a desk appearance ticket has been issued to the ‘Me, Myself & I’ rapper, who will be produced in court on a later date. Although G-Eazy was arrested, he attended the 2021 MTV VMA’s two days later in Brooklyn ahead of the release of his fourth studio album titled These Things Happen Too.
