NTFF - Norway Tamil Film Festival is back for the sixth time and this time Ramanujan has been selected to compete for the Best Feature Film from Tamilnadu.

The other selections include Sigaram Thodu, Jigarthanda, Kayal, Cuckoo, Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam, Naan Than Bala, Thenkoodu, Kaaviya Thalaivan, Thegidi, Kaadu and Kutram Kadithal.

The final list will be announced shortly and the film festival will happen from 23rd April to 26th April. It is a great news to see Ramanujan being selected which is a biopic of the renowned mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujam.

He is a great pride to our country and the movie is a tribute to him. The movie was written and directed by Gnana Rajasekaran starring Abhinay Vaddi, Abbas and Suhasini Maniratnam.

Music from Ramesh Vinayakam, cinematography from Sunny Joseph and editing from B Lenin made this more special. It is also special as Abhinay Vaddi who played Ramanujan is the grandson of Gemini Ganesan and Savithiri.

Congratulations to the entire team and all the best to bag the award.
